Supporters of organic faming are rallying to defeat this bill. A group called Save Organic Farming claims that the bill, backed by Monsanto,

"... would require organic farms to use specific fertilizers and poisonous insect sprays dictated by the newly formed agency to "make sure there is no danger to the public food supply". If this passes then NO more heirloom clean seeds will be allowed, only Monsanto genetically altered seeds that are now causing unexpected diseases in humans."

    On February 8, 2005, John Conyers introduced H.R. 676, The Expanded and Improved Medicare for All Act, onto the House floor. The official title reads: To provide for comprehensive health insurance coverage for all United States residents, and for other purposes. It also known as The United States National Health Insurance Act. It seeks to extend the socialized health care that Dick Cheney has had access to every time he has a heart attack, to every resident of the United States.
