This bill passed in the House of Representatives on a vote of 362 to 63. Forty-two Democrats, including Nancy Pelosi, voted against this act. BBC investigative journalist Greg Palast now blames this act for empowering secretaries of states and other officials to undermine the right of Americans to vote. Read his story here.
